Liuzhou City High-tech Industrial Development Zone is the provincial level development zone enjoying preferential policies of state-level high-tech development zones and is composed of two parts namely the Central Garden Zone and Guantang Pioneering Garden Zone.

The Central Garden Zone: Located in the central zone of science & education, culture and administration in Liuzhou City, it has established state-level business-starting service center, it has complete business- starting service system, it focuses on development of high-tech industries such as new materials, electronic technology, machinery and electrical integration, software development and biology medicine etc.

Guantang Pioneering Garden Zone: Located at Liuzhou Guantang New Industrial Zone, it focuses on development of new materials industry dominated by processing of non-ferrous metal materials, machinery and electrical integration dominated by advanced manufacture technology and electronic information & computer software industry, biology medicine and environmental protection etc. Guantang New Industrial Zone has been listed in the second group of Z China-US Sustainable Development Demonstration Town, it adheres to the sustainable development idea of suitable residence, business starting and ecological environmental protection, and it will become one of most vigorous scientific and technological new zones in the West China and the Economic Zone of the Pan-pearl River Delta.
