To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region, the Liuzhou City Foreign Affairs Activities and Gifts Picture Exhibition – “Archives Witness the Reform and Opening-Up” started in the exhibition hall of the Municipal Archives in the morning of November 30th.

Since China’s reform and opening-up, our city’s diplomacy activities have become more and more active and at present we have established sister-city relationships with cities of 7 countries and friendly exchange city relationships with cities of 8 countries. Liuzhou City, which is a thousand-year-old ancient city at the southern border of China, is developing into a frontier city of China-ASEAN exchange and cooperation. This picture exhibition, composed of two exhibition areas of “Footprint of Opening-Up” and “Exchange of Gifts”, contains more than 200 pictures, which reviews the opening-up history and foreign exchange achievements of Liuzhou City.

This exhibition, which will last until December 5th, is the first exhibition in our city taking foreign affairs pictures as principle line.
