Liuzhou developed special tea industry with local conditions

Date:2015-11-03 By:Tian Lan Source:Liuzhou Daily

In this year, Liuzhou is working hard to develop special tea products with the local conditions of each area on basis of the development of common tea products like green tea and black tea.

Liuzhou has developed more than 10 categories of special tea like lily tea, tengcha, rocky cliff tea, lotus leaf tea and mulberry leaf tea.

It is reported that green tea and black tea are common in Liuzhou tea products. While in hot autumn, flower tea and wild tea are more popular because they can better nourish our lungs.

Wild bine resources are abundant and widely spread in Rong’an. They are very common throughout 12 villages and towns with an area of approximately 30,000 mu. Rong’an made use of this advantage to encourage wild bine tea processing leading agribusinesses, so as to spur local wild bine tea industry and enrich tea growers. Rongshui Miao Autonomous County injected funds into the breeding of wide tea, relying on its advantage of abundant wide tea variety. Now, wild rocky cliff tea and wild white tea are widely developed, which leads to an increase of income of farmers in mountain areas.

According to executives of NATESC, “Tea Flower” special tea was developed successfully this year. It had applied for the National Invention Patent and will come into the market soon to meet the diverse market needs and give buyers more choices.
