Liuzhou tourism attracted visitors coming in National Golden Week

During the first half of National Day Golden Week, the tourism market in Liuzhou was hot with relatively growth in both tourist number and income than a year ago. But for the latter half, the tourism number decreased a bit due to the influence of Typhoon “Rainbow”. Though influenced by the weather, a lot of highlights appeared in Liuzhou tourism due to the standardized and ordered market. With the opening of the new situation of “more tourism number as well as more tourism income”, Liuzhou also established new pattern of “carnival +”……

Besides, the government and tourism enterprises improved quality of tourism public services by taking advantage of the Internet during the Golden Week. “Internet + Tourism” has become a new business model.

Liuzhou’s “carnival +” pattern was the key to attract the tourists. The continuous holding of International Water Carnival, which was the custom of Liuzhou, was certainly the large-scale event that tourists would attend in Liuzhou. Among all the events, the lantern show in Liuzhou Horticultural Expo Garden became the highlight of this carnival. Besides, colorful activities like the Parade of Water Carnival, Parade of All Citizens Carnival and China Inflatable Boat Rally became more and more popular among tourists.

The rural tour and folk custom tour in Liuzhou also became powerful engines for Liuzhou’s tourism development besides the carnival. Sanjiang County received 353,000 tourists with a tourism income of 211.8 million yuan since the Golden Week. The Dong Bird’s Nest theatre was crowded every night for large-scale real-scene Dong musical “Zuo Mei”. Rongshui Miao Autonomous County received 453,300 tourists with the tourism income of 297 million yuan. Now “carnival + folk custom” is very hot among tourists both at home and abroad and has become another culture brand and travel card of Guangxi tourism.
