On April 2, 2015, ,women of the Yao nationality were busy harvesting tea in the tea gardens of Dongling Village, Banlan Town, Rong’an County. Located in the rocky mountainous area in Northern Guangxi, Banlan Town is entering a peak harvest season of tea-picking. The local Yao people are seizing the farming season for picking new green tea. High altitude and sound climate endow Dongling Village, where the Yao people inhabited, with high-quality and pure-tasting tea. Now tea plantation and tea-picking are the key channel for local people to get rich.
