The China Guangxi-Vietnam Commodity Expo was held in Vietnam’s capital Hanoi yesterday. Secretary of Liuzhou CCP Chen Gang and Vice Mayor Xu Feng led a delegation to the expo. Industrial products made in Liuzhou became highlights of the expo. 

The opening ceremony of the expo was held in Hanoi and Secretary of Guagnxi CCP Guo Shengkun gave speech to announce the opening. Exhibits from Liuzhou are almost half of all and was paid attention. These include automobiles made by Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Corporation, industrial machineries by Liuzhou Machinery Corporation, cars by Shanghai General Wuling etc.

With the companied of Chen Gang, Guo gave 6 MPVs made by Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile to Vietnam government.

Other companies and corporations also had products exhibited in the expo and all the Liuzhou products comprised one third of all products.

After the opening ceremony, Liuzhou delegation also joined marketing promotions to better sale.
            
The delegation also met leaders from Vietnam Investment and Development Bank and discussed about future cooperation.

As more involvements in China-ASEAN business, the city’s export-import has achieved a total amount of over US$1.3 billion, with an increase of 25.36%.
               
The delegation has signed contracts with a total value of US$260 million and was the best in all the cities attending the expo. 

The biggest contract was the office building by Guangxi Industrial and Construction Corporation and Vietnam Investment and Development Bank.

At the meantime, Liuzhou Iron & Steel Corporation also signed a 120000-ton-contract with Vietnam Commerce Company; and Liuzhou Machinery has signed a 12 million dollar contract on industrial machineries.
