In the evening of January 30th at City Culture and Arts Center, the 2008 Pufa Bank Liuzhou Original Music Concert: Where Our Dreams Come True was on the stage, with all music created by Liuzhou local musicians.
The first melody was by traditional artists: the Spring Festival Overture. The concert was held by the Arts Department of municipal committee, and supported by the City Musician Union, Radio and TV Center and Liuzhou Song and Dance Troop.
Guests attended the concert were Vice-Director of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Guangxi Branch Xie Jingming, government officials Gan Lin, Lin Guiping, Zhang Qiaolin and the public.
All the 16 music are created by Liuzhou local musicians. One of them was Luosi Noodle chorus, which represents the traditional Liuzhou food Luosi noodle.
The song Where Our Dreams Come True, created by Jiang Jixiong and Zhang Quanfu, has won the first place of 2007 Guangxi National Music Competition and was the piece of resistance of the night. Its lyrics are: Liuzhou, the industrial city where our dreams come true, where our dreams come true…
